How We Protect Your Documents
At LovePDFSS, privacy is built into our software architecture. We process files on your device whenever possible and enforce strict auto-deletion for server tasks.
1. In-Browser Client Execution
For 6 of our tools (Compress Image, Background Removal, JPG to PDF, PDF to JPG, Compress PDF, Edit PDF), all code runs locally inside your browser using Web Workers. Your files are never uploaded to any remote server.
2. End-to-End Transport Security
For complex server tools (Word, PPT, Excel, HTML conversions), all data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3 SSL protocols. Unencrypted HTTP traffic is strictly rejected.
3. Automatic 1-Hour File Purge
Uploaded files for server conversion reside in volatile temporary directories. Converted files are deleted immediately after download or automatically purged within 1 hour. We never keep permanent storage or backups of your files.
4. No File Analysis or Mining
We do not inspect, index, analyze, or mine the contents of your documents. No user accounts, registration, or credit cards are required.
